Angola international set to join the CAF Confederation Cup winners ahead of a new season.
Maghrib Foot are being told that Ambrosini António Cabaça Salvador, or “Zini”, is currently in Morocco where he’s been training with Raja Club Athletic ahead of a proposed move to Casablanca. The 19-year-old striker is expected to sign a contract with The Greens and be registered with the reserves, which will make him available for the first-team without taking up one of the five foreign spots allowed in the Botola Pro.
Zini scored 11 goals in the Girabola last season for Primeiro Agosto, considered one of the most promising players in Angola. He scored twice in the U17 World Cup two years ago and has already been on the bench for the Palancas Negras, in AFCON qualifiers against DR Congo last year.
If a transfer materializes, he will be Raja’s eighth summer signing, after Mohamed Nahiri, Hamid Ahadad, Moustapha Kouyate, Sami Hein, Soufian Azhari, Gibril Sillah and Jamal Harkass.
