The registration of Abdelkarim Baadi to Morocco’s squad has reportedly been accepted by the Confederation of African Football.
According to Radio Mars, the Moroccan football federation have had their request to include Baadi in the Africa Cup of Nations squad, accepted by CAF. For a while, it seemed liked Morocco would head into the competition with only 22 players, as Abderrazak Hamdallah left the camp.
The Al-Nassr striker refused to attend the scheduled medical appointment, which Morocco needed in order to send the certificate to CAF so that Baadi could replace him. Despite Hamdallah’s lack of cooperation, it now looks like Hassania Agadir rapid left-back will be available for the Atlas Lions after all.
