Raja Club Athletic have scheduled a friendly against Real Betis this summer, according to Moroccan sports site, Le360.
Officials at Raja have agreed to play another match against Spanish opposition, this time hosting Real Betis. No final date has been set, but it’s believed that it will take place on August 4th, possibly in Tangier. The Greens have previously arranged friendlies against the likes of Atlético Madrid and Barcelona.
Real Betis finished 10th in La Liga last season and advanced to the knockout-stage of Europa League. They already have a Moroccan player in centre-back Zouhair Feddal and recently opened a football school in Fès. This could be another step into the Moroccan market for the Andalusia club.
